My professional career began in 1995 in the Psychological Assistance Unit of the University of Alicante as a therapist, from these beginnings I have always been moved to work with people to ensure their welfare, improve their quality of life and that of their families, accompanying them in the process of finding personal resources for change, so I have dedicated my professional career and in particular since 2001 to work as a psychologist in the field of psychosocial rehabilitation and clinical health in various centres such as the CRIS of Alicante, and from 2015 until December 2024 in the Centro Socio Asistencial Dr. Esquerdo. Mental Health Area. Diputación Prov. de Alicante Medium Stay Unit for the approach of Severe Mental Disorder.
As for my activity as a psychologist in my private practice, I have been working for more than 10 years in a multidisciplinary way to improve your mental health using cognitive-behavioural therapy as well as mindfulness applications in therapy and the unified protocol for the transdiagnostic treatment of emotional disorders.
I graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Valencia in 1993, then I did a Master in Health Psychology, Clinical Psychology and Mental Health at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Alicante. I am qualified as a Specialist Psychologist in Psychotherapy. Member of the psychotherapy division (dPsiT) of the COP General Council.
I like teaching, so I have been an associate professor at the University of Alicante in the Area of knowledge: Personality, Evaluation and Psychological Treatments of the Department of Health Psychology. I participate in the training of future professionals in their clinical practice both in the Degree of Psychology and in the Master of General Health Psychologist and in the P.I.R. training.
